Doggy Day Care

Since I was in middle school, I dreamed about starting my own business. I love animals and I always knew I wanted to do something involving that, whether is be something in the veterinarian field, or even being a pet sitter or walker. In high school I began pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I loved taking care of all the animals. My younger brother is allergic to all animals so we could never have a pet while I was growing up. For such an adamant animal lover, this was hard for me. This is probably why I was so determined to do something successful while also doing something I loved, taking care of animals. The pet sitting business was fun for me throughout high school and was a good way for me to save up a bit of money.

After high school I decided what I really wanted to do as a job. I wanted to run a sort of day care for dogs. Some people may laugh this idea off, but for animal lovers leaving their pets at home alone all day while they go to work can be difficult and many people would appreciate a day care for their four legged friends. At first the business was very small and pretty slow, but after about a year business was booming. I had to hire more employees to help me with all the animals, and hired receptionist services to deal with all the incoming calls inquiring about my business. It is a dream come true to be able to do what I love.
